The Olares: Model Console → Status → Service status, Connection source “Devices on your network”, API format OpenAI-Compatible. Off the home network, LarePass VPN. The Workbench shares this endpoint when both apps are served from the same site.
The Workbench app's runtime listens here while it runs (Settings → Native runtime there). On a PC: llama-server, LM Studio with CORS on, or Ollama with OLLAMA_ORIGINS set. Chrome asks once whether this site may reach devices on your network.
Endpoint, key and model changes take effect on the next turn. An https page cannot call a plain http box on the LAN unless Chrome is allowed to (it asks); 127.0.0.1 and https endpoints are always fine.
